CureDuchenne Ventures launches, funding Lexicon project

CureDuchenne launched CureDuchenne Ventures to raise money from venture philanthropists, foundations and donors to fund research on new treatments for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). The nonprofit said CureDuchenne Ventures "will draw from a broader funding source and support a greater range of programs" than its prior funding programs. CureDuchenne has raised $11 million from venture philanthropy, funding seven projects that have advanced to human clinical trials. ...
