Actelion, J&J back in takeout talks

Actelion Ltd. (SIX:ATLN) said Wednesday it is in exclusive negotiations with Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) about a possible deal. The Swiss biotech acknowledged in late November that J&J had approached it about a transaction, but Actelion said last week that the discussions had ended (see BioCentury Extra, Dec. 14).

Actelion declined to comment on the renewed talks...
