Cohen, the president and CEO of Acorda Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:ACOR), previously served as chair of BIO's emerging companies section governing board, and was vice chair of its health section governing board.

Cancer play Syndax Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Waltham, Mass.) named Briggs Morrison CEO and Michael Metzger president and COO. Morrison was CMO and EVP of global medicines development at AstraZeneca plc (LSE:AZN; NYSE:AZN); he replaces Arlene Morris, who stepped down last month.
