MorphoSys, Medarex announce antibody advances

MorphoSys (NMarkt: MOR) and Medarex (MEDX) separately reported developments in their respective antibody platforms on Tuesday. MOR said it has developed CysDisplay, a new screening method for cysteine-mediated phage display. The company said that CysDisplay, to be used in conjunction with its HuCAL combinatorial antibody library technology, will lead to improved efficiency of antibody generation as well as enable the generation of higher affinity antibodies.
