Celera launches SNP database

CRA launched its human genome SNP Reference Database, which contains 2.4 million unique and proprietary SNPs, and 400,000 non-overlapping public SNPs. Also, CRA partnered with the University of Wales College of Medicine ( Cardiff, U.K.) to provide CRA and its database subscribers a period of exclusive access to new information added to the college's Human Gene Mutation Database of inherited lesions in more than 1,000 human genes.
