Schering licenses Epix IP

Schering received a royalty-bearing license to EPIX's European Patent No. 222,886 and U.S. Patent Nos. 4,899,755 and 4,880,008 covering MRI contrast agents. EPIX said the patents relate to Schering's Eovist gadolinium injection liver-enhancing imaging agent, which is in Phase III testing.
