Boehringer picks Polyphor's macrocycle discovery tech for its smallness

Polyphor Ltd. has signed its first MacroFinder discovery deal, attracting Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH with the technology's capacity for generating smaller macrocycle therapeutics that offer better pharmaceutical properties and cell permeability than competing technologies.

Macrocycles typically are 500-2,000 Da. in size, which makes them larger than most small molecules but smaller than biologics.
