Inc. hopes to parlay its efforts to identify rare autism-linked genetic
variants into a testing business built around a microarray-based autism
spectrum disorder diagnostic.
The company recently launched
its firststepDX autism testing kit, a chromosomal microarray bundled with a
genetic counseling service to aid in diagnosing young children with
developmental delay or intellectual disability, which are early clinical signs
of autism spectrum disorder.
