LNA chasing miRNAs

As more and more microRNAs are discovered, researchers want to rapidly validate the regulatory molecules' relevance as therapeutic targets. Santaris Pharma A/S, which believes its locked nucleic acid technology platform is well suited to inhibiting miRNAs, was to announce today a collaboration with researchers at the University of Copenhagen to validate druggable miRNAs and develop LNA-based antagonists that would target them.
