Guest Commentary: Miracle or good medicine?

Cardiac arrests are not supposed to happen to healthy 54-year-olds. Mine occurred out of the blue, during an otherwise unremarkable workday in mid-March.

What followed was horrific - 31 days in the cardiac ICU, before being moved to acute rehab and finally discharged another six days later.
