Oxford Gene: Gearing up for war

Tiny Oxford Gene Technology Ltd. has moved to up the stakes in its patent battle with Affymetrix Inc. over chip array technology, separating out its commercialization efforts so that the parent can focus on prosecuting its intellectual property claims.

OGT, which believes it has intellectual property superceding AFFX's chip patents, has established a new division called OGT Operations to commercialize its technology.
