DNAP's portfolio swap

DNA Plant Technology Corp. has put its money where its research is, buying out its share of the FreshWorld joint venture with DuPont in exchange for DNAP's 28 percent interest in their InterMountain Canola venture.

The move focuses DNAP's business in its core competency, fruits and vegetables, continuing a process of narrowing DNAP's focus that the company began two years ago, said President and CEO Robert Serenbetz. In addition, the FreshWorld farms products are farther along in development than canola. ...
