TSI Corp., suffering indigestion from an ambitious growth-oriented strategy, last week embarked on a downsizing that it hopes will be in place by the end of the year.

James Sherblom resigned as chairman, president and chief executive officer, giving way to an interim management structure led by Robert Baldridge of the investment firm of Dower & Co. Baldridge was elected chairman and also will chair an executive committee overseeing TSIN's operations until a new chief executive is found.
