Noise level rising on 'organic' standards

WASHINGTON - A broad range of environmental, citizens, alternative agriculture and food safety groups have launched a large-scale campaign to persuade the U.S. Department of Agriculture to exclude products derived from biotechnology from its definition of "organic" agriculture.
