A new public venture fund

BioCapital Investments LP has filed for a Canadian IPO in hopes of raising C$30-C$50 million (US$21.5-US$35.9 million) for a publicly held venture capital fund.

BioCapital (Montreal, Quebec) plans to fold its three funds - BioCapital Investments I, II and III - to form one fund that it will sell to the public. (BioCapital I and II were C$10 million funds, while the third was a C$25 million).
