SeaChange sales and marketing update

SeaChange launched its SEAware software that allows analysis and visualization tools to predict drug and other small molecule activity and toxicity against biological targets. SeaChange said the Similarity Ensemble Approach (SEA) software enables researchers to explore new therapeutic uses for known drugs, mechanisms of action, causes of side effects and adverse drug reactions and multi-target activity and polypharmacology. SEA predicts whether a compound will bind a target by comparing the similarity of the compound's chemical groups to other known ligands of the target.
