Zyomyx, Mylan, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation sales and marketing update

Zyomyx granted Mylan exclusive rights to distribute Zyomyx's point-of-care CD4 test to aid in the treatment of HIV/AIDS infection in Africa, Asia (excluding Japan and South Korea), Central Eastern Europe (CEE), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), South and Central America and the Caribbean Islands. The partners expect to launch the test "in the near-term." Mylan also made a $6 million strategic equity investment in Zyomyx. Zyomyx will supply the point-of-care CD4 test to Mylan, which will pay milestones and share profits with Zyomyx. Mylan declined to disclose details, and Zyomyx could not be reached. ...
