HHS’s Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) awarded Mitsubishi’s Medicago Inc. subsidiary a contract to manufacture three mAbs against the Ebola virus for a study in non-human primates. Two of the mAbs were discovered by Public Health Agency of Canada. Medicago said it intends to compare the performance of its mAbs to Zmapp from Mapp Biopharmaceutical Inc. (San Diego, Calif.).
