Apricus Biosciences supply/service news

Apricus said it will cease financing its French subsidiaries, including holding company Finesco S.A.S. and sales and marketing companies Scomedica S.A.S. and NexMed Pharma S.A.S. Apricus said the decision follows a decrease in the French unit's operating performance resulting from "changes in French reimbursement policies, which now heavily favor generic drugs," and the "subsequent, related loss or interruption of certain contract sales agreements."

Apricus acquired Finesco and its Scomedica subsidiary last July. Later that month, Apricus acquired Portalis S.A.S, which it later renamed NexMed Pharma (see BioCentury, July 25, 2012). ...
