Lifestyle intervention cardiovascular data

Patients in the lifestyle intervention arm did achieve significantly greater weight loss from baseline to 1 year (8.6% vs. 0.7%, p<0.05) and to study end (6% vs. 3.5%, p<0.05) vs. the control arm. Lifestyle intervention also led to greater reductions in HbA1c and greater initial improvements in fitness and cardiovascular risk factors, except for levels of LDL-C. ...
