A new compound could treat malaria with one dose, prevent transmission, and provide chemoprotection

Researchers at the University of Dundee have identified a compound that not only has the potential to treat malaria as a single-dose treatment, but also could reduce transmission and provide chemoprotection against the malaria parasite Plasmodium.
