Cempra raises $50.8 million in follow-on

Cempra Inc. (NASDAQ:CEMP) raised $50.8 million through the sale of 7.3 million shares at $7 in a follow-on underwritten by Barclays; Stifel Nicolaus Weisel; Cowen; Needham; and SunTrust.
