21st Century Cures Act advances

The U.S. House Energy & Commerce subcommittee on health approved the 21st Century Cures Act by voice vote on Thursday, clearing the way for the full committee to vote on the bill next week. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.), who co-sponsored the act alongside committee Chairman Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), said at a hearing she will push for firm commitments to increase FDA funding as the bill moves through the legislative process. ...
