Greece adopts new drug pricing and reimbursement policy

Effective in January, Greece will cap the price of patented drugs to the average of the three lowest prices published by other countries in the EU, according to a translation of the country's drug price bulletin posted on the website of the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE). The new regulation will also set a price ceiling for off-patent branded drugs at the lower of either 50% of the last patented price or the average of the three lowest prices in the EU.
