Genetic Alliance selects diseases for patient-focused pilot

Genetic Alliance selected three disease areas for a pilot project to evaluate the "prospective usefulness" of the alliance's online research network for FDA's Patient-Focused Drug Development Initiative. Under the initiative, FDA is holding 20 public meetings over a five-year period to prospectively inform the agency's benefit-risk assessments.
