HHS names Kronick AHRQ director

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius appointed Richard Kronick as director of HHS's Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. Kronick joined HHS in January 2010 as deputy assistant secretary for planning and evaluation overseeing the Office of Health Policy. Kronick succeeds Carolyn Clancy, who is departing this month. As director of AHRQ, Kronick also will join the board of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). ...
