NIH partners with healthcare systems for clinical studies

The NIH awarded $11.3 million to the first eight projects under its Health Care Systems (HCS) Research Collaboratory program, which engages hospitals, physician groups and other large-scale care provider groups to conduct large-scale clinical studies in partnership with the agency.
