House passes continuing resolution without new FDA user fees

The U.S. House of Representatives voted 329-91 Thursday to pass a continuing resolution that would extend funding at current levels for government operations but would not allow FDA to collect new biosimilar and generic user fees under programs signed into law this year. The bill would extend current funding through March 27, 2013, six months after the Oct. 1 expiration date for the FY12 budget. FDA declined to comment. ...
