Conkwest raises $71M ahead of listing

Conkwest Inc. (Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif.) raised $71 million this month through the sale of 2 million shares at $35.54 in venture rounds with nine undisclosed investors, according to SEC filings. The company, which is developing a pipeline of cancer immunotherapies using activated natural killer cells, had $121.5 million in cash at June 19 following the close of the financings.
