Lifecode raises $20.5M series A round

Molecular diagnostics company Lifecode Inc. (Foster City, Calif.) raised $20.5 million in a series A funding led by Sequoia Capital; the Mayo Clinic; and Mayo Ventures. The company did not respond to a request for details.
