WaVe closes $18M series A round

WaVe Life Sciences Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) raised $18 million in a series A round led by RA Capital Management and Kagoshima Shinsangyo Sosei Investment. Founding investor SNBL also participated.

The company is developing preclinical stereopure nucleic acid therapeutics. President and CEO Paul Bolno said WaVe plans to start clinical testing by YE16. Bolno declined to disclose additional details regarding WaVe's pipeline but said the company is in a research collaboration with an undisclosed pharma partner and plans to enter additional collaborative agreements. ...
