Receptos raises $72.8 million in IPO

Receptos Inc. (NASDAQ:RCPT) raised $72.8 million through the sale of 5.2 million shares at $14 in an IPO late Wednesday. Credit Suisse; Leerink; BMO Capital Markets; and Wedbush are underwriters. The price -- at the low end of Receptos' proposed $14-$16 range -- values the company at $246.5 million. Receptos proposed to raise up to $86.3 million last month.
