Warp Drive names Verdine CEO

Warp Drive Bio LLC (Cambridge, Mass.) named Co-Founder Gregory Verdine as CEO. Verdine, who is a venture partner at investor Third Rock Ventures and a professor of chemistry at Harvard University, succeeds Alexis Borisy, also a Third Rock partner who will become executive chairman. Verdine is taking a leave of absence from Harvard while serving as Warp Drive's CEO. The company also hired James Nichols as COO, a newly created position.
