AMAG slides on Rienso recall in Switzerland

AMAG Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:AMAG) fell $2.68 (11%) to $22.40 on Wednesday after disclosing in an SEC filing that partner Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (Tokyo:4502) is recalling a batch of anemia drug Rienso ferumoxytol from the Swiss market. According to AMAG, the decision was based on four reports of hypersensitivity reactions, including one fatality.
