Molecular movies

Researchers from the University of Zurich and Korea University report that they have made the first real-time "molecular movies" of peptide folding using transient two-dimensional infrared spectroscopy.

The technology, which the researchers say is complementary to X-ray crystallography, is still a few years from applications in drug discovery.
