Wanted: Passionate entreprenuers

OXFORD - Anyone who has looked at the development of the global biotech industry cannot be unimpressed by the efforts now being made by some continental European governments, particularly in Germany, to stimulate the development of home grown bioscience companies. Huge sums of financial support from national and local governments are being made available, venture capitalists are being enticed with soft loans, while politicians of every hue seem to be courting biotech executives. Even top class academics are prepared to venture out of their ivory towers and embrace commerce.

However, this is clearly not going to be enough. While there is no shortage of top quality science in Europe, there is a shortage of true entrepreneurs who are prepared to create and build new businesses...
