Sofinnova Ventures is jumping on the asset-centric bandwagon with the creation of Dauntless Pharmaceuticals Inc. While the model has been around for a decade, Sofinnova decided to enter asset-centric investing after seeing that the whole was not greater than the sum of the parts for portfolio company Intellikine Inc.
