Anti-aging company Unity closes $151M series B

Unity Biotechnology Inc. (San Francisco, Calif.) raised $35 million in the second close of a series B round on Aug. 17, bringing the total amount raised in the round to $151 million. New investors in the round included Invus Opportunities, Three Lakes Partners, Cycad Group, COM Investments and Pivotal Alpha, while existing investors Arch Venture Partners, Baillie Gifford, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Partner Fund Management and Venrock also participated.
