Bristol-Myers sales and marketing update

Bristol-Myers said it recalled 10 lots of 50 mg/mL vials of 100 mg BiCNU carmustine after a routine inspection at the former manufacturing facility revealed an overfilled vial. The recall affects lots manufactured by the Ben Venue Laboratories Inc. subsidiary of Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH (Ingelheim, Germany). Ben Venue is a former contract manufacturer for BMS. The pharma said there were no reported adverse events associated with this issue and that it does not anticipate a product shortage. The recall does not affect BiCNU manufactured by Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Pune, India). BMS does not break out BiCNU sales. ...
