Pro Bono Bio sales and marketing update
Pro Bono Bio, a newco developing products based on its Sequessome nanotechnology, said it will market its products in different geographic areas using a tiered pricing system based on a region's ability to pay. Its first product, Flexiseq topical gel, is available at £1.25 ($1.98) per day in the U.K. to treat osteoarthritis pain in the knee. The company said price will depend on the joint receiving treatment. Pro Bono Bio also plans to launch Flexiseq in Russia in 2Q12 at about a 50% discount to the price in Western European and will provide the product in East Africa for free.
