Gawande to head Amazon-Berkshire-Chase healthcare company

Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.A; NYSE:BRK.B) and JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) hired Atul Gawande as CEO of their new company focused on U.S. employee healthcare, effective July 9. His experience draws from several areas, including public health, surgery and healthcare writing.
