Led by the university's NeuroDiscovery Center's Laboratory in Drug Discovery in Neurodegeneration (LDDN), the parties established the Collaborative CNS Screening Initiative (CCSI), a central repository of chemical compounds that have shown significant CNS activity. CCSI will share with academic CNS drug discovery centers a library of screened compounds to treat CNS diseases from anonymous sources to accelerate drug discovery and provide increased access to the compounds.
