PPD supply/service news

CRO PPD partnered with NHS Research Scotland (NRS) to advance Scottish clinical research across therapeutic areas. PPD said it will work with the government to reduce study startup times, streamline regulatory approval processes, increase patient enrollment in trials as well as ensure availability of resources and training to increase the number of physicians and support staff conducting research. The initiative includes Phases I-III, biosimilar and postapproval trials. NRS is a partnership between the Chief Scientist Office of the Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorates and National Health Service (NHS) Scotland. Details were not disclosed. ...
