Accentia said it will sell its healthcare economics consulting unit, Analytica International Inc., to consulting company LA-SER Alpha Group S.a.r.l for $10 million. Accentia said it will use $4 million from the sale to pay off principal from its senior secured lender as well as obtain a one-year extension to mid-to-late 2013 of all remaining principal and interest payments. Accentia expects both deals to close by year end 2011. At June 30, Accentia reported nine-month sales for its Analytica unit of $3.2 million. ...
