Roche, Autism Speaks, King's College London neurology news

Roche, King's College and advocacy group Autism Speaks launched a five-year research project on autism. The European Autism Interventions - A Multicentre Study for Developing New Medications (EU-AIMS) project will seek to develop and validate translational research approaches for autism therapies and establish European clinical sites for autism trials.

The project will receive support from the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI), which is comprised of financial contributions from the European Commission's Framework Programme 7 (FP7), in-kind contributions from biotech and pharma, and $1 million from Autism Speaks.
