Omeros disclosed in an SEC filing that former CFO Richard Klein filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington alleging Omeros violated the Federal False Claims Act and wrongfully terminated and defamed him. Klein alleges that his termination in January 2009 was retaliatory after the former CFO reported to the chairman of the audit committee that Omeros had submitted grant reimbursement claims to the National Institutes of Health for work that was not performed. According to the filing, NIH confirmed in writing to Omeros "that it was satisfied with our handling of these grant matters." ...
