PPHM filed a lawsuit in the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Orange against Cancer Therapeutics alleging breach of contract. Under a 1999 deal, Cancer Therapeutics has exclusive rights to develop and commercialize PPHM's tumor necrosis therapy (TNT) technology for cancer in China. PPHM alleges that Cancer Therapeutics failed to provide, among other things, information from a sublicense to Shanghai Medipharm Biotech Co. Ltd (Shanghai, China). Shanghai recently launched Vivatuxin, an iodine-131 radiolabeled TNT antibody, to treat advanced lung cancer in China. Cancer Therapeutics said it intends to fight the lawsuit. ...
