NPSP's NPS Allelix Corp. subsidiary (Toronto, Ontario) said that osteoblasts cultured in microgravity produced 22 percent less bone compared to cells cultured on Earth, but that ALX 1-11 improved bone growth in microgravity by 68 percent.
