LIFC (The Woodlands, Tex.) received a $65,000 Phase I SBIR from the National Science Foundation to develop reconstituted, full-thickness human skin.
The grant will fund a six-month study to optimize conditions for co-culturing human keratinocytes, the primary epidermal cell type present in human skin, on the surface of AlloDerm, LIFC's dermal tissue graft that is produced from human donor skin. ...
