The Cinnaminson, N.J.-based company is relocating its corporate headquarters to Oakland, Calif. The move, which will occur by July 1, will save $2 million a year, a spokesperson estimated.

DNAP chose Oakland because of its existing research facility there and the city's proximity to major produce growing areas. DNAP said it will lay off 30 people on the East Coast and will hire 20 to 30 people for the California operation. The company has offered to relocate employees who wish to do so. ...
